So he roamed the land for a few days, but he found himself on a large island, with no apparent way off.

To live, he made a fishing line from a few strands of twine from his shirt, and for a hook he found a little twig, and fished a while, fairly unsuccessful, but every once in a while, he did catch a fish.

Luckily he was very used to being underfed, and this allowed him to live for more then two days on a single fish, at this time he was extremely happy he had learned to cook, it saved him here in the wild.

It wasn't for another three weeks that a ship passed by the island, and noticed him, and they picked him up.

Fortune was with him somewhat this time, they were normal merchants, but they were not headed for Jhelom, their business was at the Sea Market.

After that, they would sail for Britain, Baruk stayed with them and worked as best as he could cleaning the ship and cooking for the sailors.
